Transform
Transform is the name of our monthly meeting held for teens from seventh to
twelfth grade and their parents. The parents and teens receive teaching, worship God
together, fellowship, and do fun games and activities with one another.
The combined parent-teen approach to youth ministry has been immensely
helpful to us. We have heard wonderful messages from the book of Proverbs and then been
encouraged to apply these truths together with our youth. The discussions not only enable
us to better care for our children's hearts, but also provide a context for us as parents
to confess our own weakness and need of God's grace in specific areas.
Additionally, we are refreshed by the cross-centered worship with our families. Finally,
where would we be without the infamous "Roberto Games" that help mortify the
sin of pride right before our children's eyes?

Youth Camp
One of the highlights of the year, Youth Camp is three days of
biblical teaching, worship, hilarious games, skits and building friendships
for eighth to twelfth graders and their parents. Many of the young adults
in our church would say that God significantly touched their lives at Youth
Camp.
Robert Brockman has uploaded lots of great photos
on Flickr of Youth Camp 2010, and Ron Eschelman put together this ubercool playlist of
Youth
Camp videos. Ron also recorded the three
main messages. Thanks, guys!
Youth Camp rivals Christmas as the best time of year for me. Without
Youth Camp, my life would be significantly different.

Youth Camp 2010 FAQ
When is Youth Camp?
Youth Camp starts Wednesday, June 16th at 4:00 PM and ends Saturday, June 19th at 11:00
AM.
Where is it?
We're using Camp Kanesatake's facilities, located on Huntingdon Furnace Road, between Routes 45 and 350,
about 40 minutes from Altoona.
Why aren't we at New Horizons anymore?
We've outgrown it! Camp Kanesatake (check it out at mycampk.com)
is a lot bigger and has more to offer, as well.
Who can attend?
Youth 13 and older, along with their parents.
How much does it cost?
$115 per person, which includes a t-shirt. This rate is for all campers and parents. We're not able to offer
sibling or parent discounts, sorry.
Why more expensive?
This is actually in-line with other Youth Camps. We've been blessed, and perhaps a bit spoiled, to get excellent
prices from New Horizons for so many years. But we're letting you know about this now, so you can begin putting money
aside for registration, which begins in April!
More details will follow.
