Campus Ministry

Resolved is a singles ministry for ages 18-24 with two goals: to reach Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP, our local university) with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and get students plugged into a local church.

We have the unique opportunity of being located less than a mile from the IUP campus, providing the opportunity to reach out to more than 14,000 college students through our weekly meeting, social events, and outreaches, such as handing out free cookies and soft drinks on campus.

What happens at Resolved?

Resolved meets every week for a time of singing worship songs, hearing biblical teaching, eating lip-smacking good food, fellowship with friends, and good old-fashioned fun. We believe that God wants college students to have a deep, soul-satisfying relationship with Him, and our weekly meetings provide a way for students to grow in their relationship with God.

In addition to our weekly meetings, Resolved sponsors several social and outreach events throughout the school year. Progressive dinners, campfires and ultimate Frisbee are common words among Resolved attendees. Each spring we sponsor a retreat at New Horizons camp, where we hear from guest speakers and enjoy two days of worship and fellowship. We also designate several days during the year to serve free hot chocolate and snacks to IUP students while they are walking to class.

Where and when do we meet?

We meet on campus in the Hadley Union Building (HUB) near Wayne Avenue. Join us each Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Susquehana Room.

Don't know where the HUB is? Check out this map.
